Peeking Pals

I'm having fun playing with one of my new stamps....#B104 (Flower Border). This card has a finished size of 4-1/4" x 5-1/2". On the cover of the card I drew a pencil line approximately 1-1/2" from the bottom...I turned the card upside down and stamped the border stamp three times along the pencil line (matching the tips of the leaves to the pencil line). Then I cut along the edge of the three border stamps. I glued a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" piece of coordinating paper on the inside of the card (just the bottom edge shows from the front). I made the three characters peeking out from the flowers and added some ribbons and buttons to tie in the colors.

The stamps I used are #1208 (Peeking Chick), #5043 (Peeking Monkey), #5053 Peeking Penguin) and #4023 (Sending You Smiles).

It's the weekend!!! I'm off to see the Wizard!! (of Oz, that is...at Diamond Head Theater) Hope you all have a fun-filled weekend!

what a great idea! Beats having to stamp, color and cut out 3 sets of the flower garland

I love this card. These days I can't wait to come home & check your blog. I really enjoy the slide show of past & present cards you or other's have made using Dandelion Stamps.

I just love this card and hope to try this idea soon. Your stamps and creative ideas are a real ray of sunshine and always so cheerful. Hope you will do more demos or classes at some of the local stores. P.S. Hope you enjoyed the Wizard of Oz (my nephew is the Tinman).
