A Trifold Card

Trying to keep things quick and simple this year...this is a card that you can whip up in no time.  Choose a double sided print for a fun look!  Start with a 4" x 7-1/2" piece of card stock...Score at 2-1/2" and 5" from the side and fold as shown below:

Make a diagonal cut starting at 1" from the bottom (on the left side) to the top of the second fold:

Then add your stamped images using foam dots.

Images used:  Shave Ice and sentiment is from MC-43 (Shave Ice)
Panda is from MC-1 (Friend to Friend)
Bear is from CL-13 (Bear Hugs).

Shadow Box

I made a quick shadow box using stamps MC-41 (Ikebana Frame), SC-8 (Mum) and SC-10 (Peony)...it lives up to its name because I could not get a good picture with no shadows!!  I like the depth you get with a shadow box...plus, it folds flat to fit into an envelope!! A Sideways Matchbook Cover

One last project for the weekend!!!  Chinese New Year is coming up on January 31...the Year of the Horse!!  I made a simple matchbook cover (but turned it on its side) to hold a little sesame candy treat.  To make...cut a strip of card stock measuring 2" x 6-5/8"...score at 3/4", 3-3/4" and 4-1/8", then fold.  Staple the treat into the 3/4" fold, wrap around the candy then tuck the end into the stapled tab.  Super easy!!!  I used stamps from MC-42 (Year of the Horse)...plus a few sakura flowers (in gold) from CL-8 (Friends Cling Set).

Tags!!

Made a bunch of tags using my "flower girls" stamps.  The tags were made with the small cling (SC) sized stamps...and the card (which you'll see further down in the post) was made using the larger stamps from CL-16 (Flower Girls):

This tag is using SC-9 (Iris)

SC-10 (Peony)

SC-11 (Sakura)

SC-12 (Bamboo)

SC-8 (Mum)

Above is the card I used to house the tags...and below is a look at the inside:

I made a couple of clear pockets so you can still see each tag.

Kaki Mochi

Back with some samples using our new set...MC-44 (Kaki Mochi):

Other stamps used:  "Max" stamp is from MC-2 (Friend to Friend)
"Just for you" stamp is from CL-10 (Flowers)

For the favor bag, I cut each kaki mochi stamp separately and placed it on my acrylic block in a random pattern:

Here's a tag using the stamps as they come in the package, as a border design:

Whichever way you choose to use it, hope you have fun with it!!

New Food Stamps!!

I know it may seem a little off-season...but shave ice is a year-round staple here in sunny Hawaii and probably the most requested design I've had in the past few months.  So, here we go...right in the middle of winter:

While I was at it...here's the second most-requested design...kaki mochi!!
