Before you put away the pattern I had on the January 20th post...here's one more idea using the same pattern. Actually, using half of the pattern! Use only the side that looks like a gift tag with a fold line. Cut out a piece of cardstock that is printed on both sides.
Fold at the dotted line and punch a hole. Tie a ribbon and decorate just like the gift card holder. I found that a Ghirardelli chocolate square fits perfectly onto this card!! Use double stick tape to hold the chocolate onto the tag. Then put a piece of double stick tape on the underside of the flap you created and stick that down on the candy wrapper.
Next, I got a 4" x 6" piece of cardstock and simply wrapped it around the candy/tag, and secured the ends with double stick tape in the back. I also used a small circle punch in the center front to make a notch where you can grab the tag and slide the candy out.
