Everyday Inspirations
It's amazing how you can find inspiration in the most common, everyday items (especially when you're desperate to do your blog post for the day!!! ;) Today my inspiration was a bag of M&M's. I started with a 6" x 6" piece of paper and rolled it into a tube and secured the edges with double stick tape like this:
I also used a zigzag scissors to edge the 2 open ends. Use double stick tape to close one end (then fill the bag with whatever you want) and close the other end. Now, this part is a trick I learned from Brian of Photo Craft...use a paper crimper to make the ends look sealed. (He uses this technique to do another neat project with photos).
Then, just decorate it! Stamps used are: #3024 (Dog in Heart), #4004 (Mini Flower Power) and #5059 (You're Sweet).
BTW...I'll be doing a make 'n take at the Kaimuki Ben Franklin this Saturday, May 17, from 10:00 - 11:00 am. Hope to see you there!!
