Easel Box

Hi!! I'm back with my next project!! I love the easel cards I've been seeing around...thought I'd give it a try as a box. Click here for the pattern. Cut along the solid lines and fold along the dotted lines. Apply double stick tape on the 4 tabs. Below is a picture of the box closed (tied shut with a ribbon):

And here's a picture of the box opened:

This side view shows how the easel part works:

Of course, I had to do one for the holidays:

If you look closely, you can see where I've been having fun with Flower Soft (to make the stocking look fluffy). I wonder if it comes in brown...that might work well on the bear!!

I can imagine handing these out at the office for your co-workers to keep on their desks!!! Are you starting to get your holiday mojo? This next card is a little departure from the easel boxes, but I threw it in today because I was playing around with my "chick" stamps and wanted to share it. The only new stamps are the chick carrying the candy cane and the "Friend for all seasons" stamp...the rest are from previous releases. When I was designing my holiday line, I noticed that I had a chick stamp for every season but winter. Then I thought..."friend for all seasons" and knew I had to do a winter chick!! Here's the card:

Here's the giveaway for today (I know the 3 chick stamps are not new...but, how could I break up the set???):

To win these stamps, leave me a comment by midnight (Hawaii time) on Sunday, August 29...tell me a little about your "friend for all seasons". I'll pick one winner at random and announce their name on Monday, August 30.

My two favorite "friends for all seasons" is my best friend, Marbeth, who's been with me through thick and thin and my bestest buddy, my son, Ethan, who loves me no matter what. Hey Jean! Love these chicks! My friend for all seasons is my BFF Kyoko! No matter what happens in our lives, we get through it together. We've gone through births and deaths together and will grow old and gray together! Kyoko says that we will be in the same nursing home together, yelling at each other across the hall ... heehee!!! Enjoy your weekend!

Oh my goodness!!! I LOVE this easel box. How easy is that! You are so gracious to share your designs with us. As for my friend for all seasons, first and foremost is Christ Jesus, but my "earthly" friend is Kay. We have been friends since we were 10 years old. We love 500 miles apart, but still get together at least once a year when I am in her area visiting family. She's the best! Thanks for a chance to win this FAB set, too. I have my fingers, toes, eyes and legs crossed for this one! LOL

OK, typo in my last post - we LIVE 500 miles apart. LOL

Another awesome idea!! Love the endless goodie & gift possibilities. I would have to say my two children are "my friends for all seasons" or "reasons". They always love me no matter what and I look at them and feel blessed that we are here together. With a DH deployed sometimes, it feels like we became more then parent and children. :) thanks for another cute giveaway and idea!!

These are just too stinking cute, no wonder you can't break them up! :-) I have to agree with those commenting before me ... that my husband has been my best friend for 33 seasons! The spring and summer seasons of 2010 have been very difficult for both of us, but I hope Fall will be the start of improving health for him! Thank you for the wonderful opportunity to win your stamps! CM2

I have to start over because I forgot to tell you about my friend/s for all seasons. I've been mostly homebound on oxygen for several years, but my friends come play at my house and we just cut and paste and glue and glitter not matter the weather! Thank you for the adorable box. I've saved the template. Hope I can do it justice.
