ETA: oops!! How could I forget to announce the winner of our last giveaway?....It's Saskia!!! Email me your address, Saskia...and I'll get your stamps to you!!!!
Ready for more new designs? Today's project features my Fuzzy Dog with a Wreath stamp (we really should come up with a name for him!!) . And the project is a really simple and fast gift wrap. I don't know how many times I've frantically searched for a box to wrap last minute gift (I KNOW I have one somewhere in this closet?!?!) When I can't find one, I usually improvise with something like this (actually, this first one is a gift card...I'll show you a gift wrap for a small gift later in this post):
To start, I cut a 4" x 7" piece of card stock...I placed my gift card a little lower than center and put a little mark just above and just below the card. I ran the paper through a crimper from each mark toward the edge of the paper(just a little bit)...it should look like the picture below:
This crimped section will act as the "hinge" for the wrap. Next, apply double stick tape to all 4 sides of center area:
Cut 2 pieces of tissue to 5-1/2" x 5-1/2"...attach as shown in the following pictures:
Wrap the gift card in one layer of tissue:
And then the other...hold it closed with a stamped seal:
Then I just wrapped a strip of paper around the whole thing to keep it shut. Now, here's the gift:
I don't know if you can tell...but, this holds a 6 month onesie, and the paper is cut to 5" x 12". Follow the same instructions as for the gift card (this time I'm holding it closed with a ribbon).
This stamp, "Expecting" was inspired by Yuki who's expecting her second baby in October...Congratulations and hang in there, Yuki!!!
Here are the stamps I'm giving away today:
Leave me a comment by midnight (Hawaii time) on Tuesday, August 31...give me some ideas of what to name my new fuzzy dog!!! I'll pick one winner at random and announce their name on Wednesday, September 1. Good luck!!!

Also, that tag on the inside of the christmas one is so inspiring and cute!! I wanna make some now :) ummm...and for your fuzzy dog, I would say fuzzy wuzzy :) just cause you could sing him that fuzzy wuzzy song, but substitute bear for dog! TFS!!
How about Wiggles?
Cute projects!
Hi Jean,
Cute stamps...as always! I think "Riley" is a cute name for him.
I love the new stamps. I say name your fuzzy dog, fuzzles.
Thanks for always sharing your ideas.
I say just call him (or her) Fuzzy. Fuzzy the dog. When people shop for the stamp they are gonna say "Where's the Fuzzy dog?" LOL!

I would name the dog "Trouble", I think he looks like the type that will be into all kinds of mischief!
great gift wrapping ideas! my DD3 said to name him spot because he has a spot over his eye.
How about Kirby. I love the new release they are all adorable. Thanks for always sharing your ideas with us.
What about Rags? He looks a little loved by the kids and I picture him being carried around everywhere. Eventually he'll look like a rag dog!

Cuddly Dudley looks like the little cutie. Your gift card wrap is genius and looks easy to do. Will give it a try.
I think Fuzzles would be a good name. I love the idea for christmas and a new mommy. What a great idea!!
Denise
Hi Jean... what a great idea for gift wrap... you make everything look so simple, but mines would probably not look as good as yours. How about Tobey!
Hi Jean,
Your cute little puppy looks like a "Spike".
BJ
That little dog is so cute! How about Sparky or Scruffy?
I love your ideas! I'd name your fuzzy dog, Fozzie!
Gina C.
Love this! As always, your ideas are so inspiring! I love all the help with packaging the little gifty things. These images are so darn cute -I can't wait to get them and play!
As for your little furry friens, my DD and I agree that you need to name him Freddie Bear - since he looks just like our puppy! He was named Fred when we rescued him, but he looks(and feels) like a snuggly teddy bear, so we nicknamed him Freddie Bear!
Hi Jean,
I love your cute ideas as always. You're so creative!! I like the name "Patches" for the patch on his eye.
your holiday stamps are so cute! here's a name i suggested to my friend a long time ago for her puppy: Dioji (D-O-G)...get it? :0)
What great gift card holders! Love that idea. As for a name for the dog, when I first saw him, he reminded me of "Fozzy Bear" from Sesame Street. So I think Fozzy might work. I also like Danny or Dougy or Dooley or Henry or Spot. :D Thanks for a chance to win, too.
once again thanks for sharing more cute ideas...... you have a lot of cute names for your new doggie. sorry, i am just not good at that. look forward to more sharing.
Such a nice projects! The stamps are really cute. The name: "Feliz"
Thanks for sharing your ideas :)
