Tweetheart

ETA: Hi! The pattern for this project has been uploaded...please scroll down to get it and to see more samples :)

What a crazy day...I never thought I'd make it on to my computer...but I did promise to post this project by today, so here it is:

It's a cute little mini cupcake favor that's quick 'n easy and can be used for any occasion. I did run into some "technical problems" with the pattern...but, I'll tweak it a little tonight and post it tomorrow.

And here's the giveaway featuring our sweet little bird, "Tweet":

Sorry this post sounds so rushed...leave me a tip (by midnight, Saturday January 16) about your favorite way to calm down after a crazy day...I'll pick one of the entries at random and the winner will get these stamps (check back on Sunday, January 17). Have a great night!!

p.s. I got the mini cupcakes at Whole Foods :)

ETA: If you're checking back to get the pattern for this cupcake holder, please click here. It's very simple to make...simply curl the pattern piece as shown below:

Hold edge in place with double stick tape...there's a dot on the pattern to show how far the ends need to go. If you wrapped the right side over the left, and the pattern doesn't seem to match up...try going left over right (and vice versa). Here are a couple more samples:

Thanks for checking back!!!

Hi Jean,

This cupcake holder is and birdie stamps are ADORABLE!

When I need to calm myself down, I actually shut myself in my room (or find a quiet spot) and just sit or lay there in complete silence, taking deep breaths until I feel myself losening up..it really works for me! :-)

This project is sooo cute and looks yummy!

To relax after a crazy day, I take a deep breath, lock myself in my room, put in a movie and think of nothing else but what's happening in the movie. In fact, that's what I had to do yesterday. :OP

Such a cute idea, Jean!

My way to unwind is to watch K-dramas while trying to color or cut out my stamped images. It's hard to multi- task when trying to read the subtitles, but in doing so, I don't feel unproductive. Happy Friday!

Calm down? How about a nice long swim in one of the lagoons at Ko Olina. It helps me get everything into perspective.

Reading has always been a calming factor for me, I just curl up with the latest novel and lose myself in it's pages! Also love to read before going to bed, makes me sleepy and sometimes, I don't get very far! Then, DH has to remove the book from my hands, if I've fallen asleep!
Love your newest idea, that is definitely a keeper, that I plan to use for our church ladies monthly brunch!
Thanks for all the great ideas and congrats to the latest stamp winner! CM2

After a stressful day at work, I like to turn on the "spa" music channel on my tv(cable) and then lay on the couch. Listening to beautiful instrumental music and closing my eyes helps me relax and forget the day's stresses. Of course, I also love to stamp and make cards which is my OTHER way to destress!

LOVE the cupcake holder! When I am looking for some peace after an especially stressful day, I put on my most comfy loungewear, grab an mug of soothing cocoa or tea, head to my oversized living room chair and curl up with my favorite magazine which is usually food or craft related. I hope you try this and it works for you as well. ENJOY!
