A Card With Candy

Here's a quick card you can make with a candy surprise inside:

Download the super-simple pattern here. Simply cut on the solid lines and fold on the dotted ones as show below:

Very simple, right? I'm using some Ghirardelli chocolate squares...fold the top flap over the chocolate, then use a bit of double stick tape on the 1/4" tab to hold it down. (I also put some double stick tape under the piece of chocolate to make sure it stays put). That's all there is to it!! Here's a sample of a Halloween card:

Stamps Used: #A101 (Buddy With Berries), #A106 (Chocolate Dipped Wishes), #702 (Bat) and #704 (Happy Halloween). Pink flowers on first card is a trim from Making Memories (Animal Crackers). Yellow button on second card is stamped with #B103 (Fancy Scroll) with black Staz-On ink.

Now, on to more fun stuff to share!! Here's something I got from Lianne at Cute Stuff. She found (and sells) a special eraser to stamp the background dots. You can make your own background in your own color combinations...contact her for details. She used stamps #B102 (Max With Cupcake) and #B106 (Little Something) to make this cute 2009 calendar (is it that time already??)

And here's a card from my special friend, Pam. We go a loooong way back...Pam would do rubber stamp demos for me back when I still had the gift shop. She was my first stamping inspiration!!! Pam recently got married (Congrats, Pam!!!) and spent her honeymoon on a cross-country road trip...and this was the thank you card she sent me:

Such a perfect card, huh? Down to the little strings tied to the bumper of the truck!!!

Hope that gives you some inspiration for some weekend stamping!!!
