Spring Flowers...

Spring is my favorite time of year for crafting...I love the flowers and the colors!!!  And these little hand sanitizers match the color scheme perfectly!!

Click here for a pattern to make these caddies that are just the right size for these bottles. Add some contrasting papers (back panel measures just a little under 1-1/2" x 3") and two 1-1/2" circles glued back to back at the top of the caddy.  Then go to town with flowers and glitter and ribbon!!

Here's a list of the stamps that were used:

"Just for You" sentiment is from CL-10 (Flowers), #5002 (Flower), #5004 (Rosebud), #5006 (Daisy), #5007 (Sunflower), #6004 (Funky Flower) and B-104 (Flower Border).

Unfinished Business

After posting the carrot favor project the other day, I knew I had to make a stand for it.  Just laying it on the table would not work...there were candies rolling everywhere!!  So, here's a pattern to keep your carrots upright and your candies in place.  Ahhh...much better!!

Cut the pattern along the solid lines and fold along the dotted lines.  Apply double stick tape to 7 tabs and fold into stand:

Hope you give it a try...thanks for stopping by!!

One Last One for the Weekend...

Thought I'd post one last project for the weekend...sometimes once the week gets going, there's just not enough stamping time!!  Anyway...this one is really fast and easy:

Start with a square piece of paper...this one is 4" x 4", but you can adjust it to any size you want.  Cut a contrasting piece and glue it on to the top corner:

Cut the top to form leaves and put a [piece of double stick tape down one side.  Form into a cone and seal.

I decorated it with a tag using a heart stamp from MC-15 (Fuzzy Bear 1) and flower stamps # 5002 (Flower), 5004 (Rosebud) and 5006 (Daisy).

See?  Told you it was fast and easy!!  Have a really good week everyone!!

A Card and a Contest

Hope you're all having a great weekend!!!  I made a simple card using the smaller stamp from CL-18 (Kokeshi Candy).  Front view on the outside...

...and back view when you open the card:

I also wanted to let you know that we have a contest on Facebook...click on the link on my sidebar to see the details.  Don't have Facebook?  Just email me a picture and I will enter you in the contest!!!

Just In Case

I always thought it would be a good idea to keep a bunch of pre-stamped things around "just in case".  I hate when I want to send something out and I have to rush to create something...or I need a thank you card and I have 5 stamped birthday cards...or even worse, when I have to send out something store-bought (gasp!).  With that in mind I made a a few "just in case" things on plain white stickers:

Then when the need arises....just stick and go!!

Happy!!

Used some of the girls from our Alphabet Set (AL-1 Sakura Alphabet) to make this little gift card (Finished size is 1-1/2" x 4-1/2"):

Inside sentiment is from CL-1 (Happy Wishes) and the kaki mochi is from MC-44 (Kaki Mochi):

Also made a paper bag envelope to hold the card:

Here are some quick instructions...cut a 2-1/2" x 10" piece of kraft paper (or recycle a brown bag).  Fold in half at 5".  Score at 1/4" from each edge...cut along score line to remove tabs from one half (below, left)...fold tabs along scored lines on the other half.  Apply double stick tape to the tabs (below, right)...fold in half and seal.

Sorry for the rushed instructions...I don't  know where the weekend goes!!  Have a great week everyone!!!

A Gift of Gift Tags

Hey there...hope you're all enjoying your weekend!!  I picked up a pack of tiny gift tags from Ben Franklin (they measure 1-5/8" x 3-1/4") and they've been sitting on my craft table for awhile.  I was in the middle of another project (the baskets in the previous post) but these tags were calling me and I HAD to stop and make these.  It all came together in a few minutes since I used just 2 stamps (with no coloring...some cutting though).

The 2 stamps I used were #5032 (Solid Flower 1) and the gold sashiko design is from MC-25 (Hi There).  I cut out the flower and glued down just the center (pulling the petals up) to add some dimension.  As you can see below,  I used a small piece of tape on the back to hold the ribbon down on each tag (just a smaaaallll piece so that when it's removed it won't tear the tag and the recipient can write their message on the back).  Then I put a foam dot on top of the tape and placed each tag onto the card...that way the gift actually becomes the card and the recipient can remove each tag to use :)

Easter Baskets

Spring is just around the corner and why not get a jump on cute little favors for the season...

All the stamps used for these baskets are from CL-18 (Happy Easter) and CL-19 (Happy Spring)

Use the "extra hand stamp" to make them peek over the edge of the basket!!

Click here to get a pattern for the basket (I put 2 patterns on one page in case you want to print it out on an 8-1/2 x 11 sheet of paper). Cut out as shown below, left.  Make sure you cut down to the bottom of each side of the basket (shown in pink)...and score at 4 places (shown in yellow).  Fold as shown below, right and adhere sides with double stick tape on 4 tabs.

I know we associate bunnies and spring/Easter...but the card below (made by the clever, Erin) shows that you can really use them for any occasion!!!

Hope you have a great weekend...with lots of time to stamp!!!
