Our new design for today is Maddy at the mall. I have the pattern for this little purse that you can download here.
Just cut the main pattern piece along the solid lines and fold along the dotted ones. There's another rectangular pattern piece that is the part that holds the gift cards/money. For this piece, cut the slits in the cardstock before you fold along the dotted lines...make as many slits as you want...this is where you can slide the gift cards in. Use double stick tape along the sides and bottom of this piece and stick it on the center section of the main piece.
To attach the handle, I used a slot punch ON the fold line between the flap and center section of the purse (one punch on each side). Then I slipped one end of a 14" piece of ribbon through each slot and tied a knot to hold the handle in place. Use velcro to close the flap.

I love this idea and all the new stamps. The first place I would go if I won the $$$ is to hit all my favorite craft stores and stock up on the new items!!

ReplyDeleteIf I won $1,000 - I would want a Coach handbag so I would hit the Waikele Coach outlet.
With a $1000 dollars to spend...I would go to the Food Bank and leave $500 for them to spend and pass out $200 in $20 dollar bills to the homeless near my office and with the rest look for a sewing machine. Love all your new stamps

I love your line of Maddy stamps. If I had $1,000 I would go to Ala Moana Shopping Center and have the time of my life.

ReplyDeleteMaddy at the Mall reminds me of all of my friends - what a great stamp! the purse it totally adorable too - what a great gift it would make to give away. $1K - gee, i would donate some to the Humane Society and then hit your website to buy all of the new stamps along with the dog ones i don't have!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm like Maddy at the Mall because I love to shop, especially when there's sales. I love a good bargain. If I won $1000.00 I'd go to Vegas and shop at the Outlet stores and at Trader Joes.

Love, love, love the new stamps! If I had $1000, I would go to Vegas and (try to) make the money grow so when I come back home, I could buy all the stamps and accessories that I "need"!
