Just a quick post to share a card with you...
I used stamp #B119 (Buddy's Gift) for this card. The stamp has Buddy carrying just one gift, but I stamped out a few more presents onto printed paper (the more the merrier, right?) and cut them out and stacked them high!! Plus a little surprise from Happy Mouse (stamp #1103) up on the top!!! Stamp #5011 (It's Your Day) finishes off the card!!

Getting Back on Track
Happy Monday!! Sorry for my absence the past couple of weeks (those of you with kids on spring break can probably relate!!) Anyway, school is back in session and I'm trying to get back into my normal routine. It takes me a little while to get back into the creative groove so, today I was going to start with a simple card...but I kept changing and fixing and changing again. I started off with a regular sized card...but the white space was too white...I ended up cutting it down to a 1-1/2" x 3" card:
Here's a view of the inside:
But that seemed a little too simple...so, I came up with the following pattern (click here to download). Cut along the solid lines and fold along the dotted lines as shown below:
Apply double stick tape to all of the tabs and fold in half as shown:
Fold the pocket piece up:
The little card fits right into the front pocket and a bag of jellybeans slip right into the pouch. I finished it off with a ribbon wrapped around the whole thing:
Stamps used: #1205 (Chick With Jellybean), #1206 (Jellybean) and #1210 (Happy Easter).

An Easter Hello
When my son was younger, I remember scrambling at the last minute making little treats for his classmates at Easter time. Cute and simple was the key. If you can relate to this, maybe this idea can help you out. Just put some candy in a plastic bag (I backed it with a piece of cardstock, cut to the same size as the candy bag). Then just wrap with coordinating pieces of paper and ribbon:
Stamps used: #6006 (Jake), #6007 (Kate) and #1211 (Easter Hello).

Ben Franklin Make 'n Take
A little late...but, here's the project we did at the Ben Franklin paper party this past Saturday:
The idea is from Jenny, the store manager at Ben Franklin (Mapunapuna). Thanks for the idea and fun time, Jenny!! To make this envelope...start with a sealed envelope. You can make it into any size you want by adjusting the length of the top and bottom piece. I used a decorative edged scissors:
Stamp and decorate as desired, then crimp the bottom portion only (note the direction of the crimpng). Crimping shrinks the bottom portion enough to fit back into the top portion.
Hope you have time to try this...you can make it small enough to hold a gift card...or large enough to fit a gift of money.

Is It Thursday Already?
Hi!! I've been so swamped this week, I haven't had a chance to stamp at all!! So, I'll cheat a little and share a few projects that others have made with Dandelion stamps! This first card is from Janet...all the way from Michigan. Such a sweet card...don't you like the way she used black with the pastel colors?
The next two are both Easter treats I've seen on other blogs. The first one is made by Enjoli (Stamping Under the Sun), and the second is by Cheryl (Life is Sweet). Both are really cute and make you want to stamp right now!!!! Hope you can find some time!!!
By the way...I'll be doing a make 'n take at Ben Franklin (Mapunapuna) this Saturday, March 21 from 10:00 - 12:00. We'll be doing a really simple and cute project shared with me by Jenny, the store manager at Ben Franklin. Stop by if you're in the area!!

Easter Decorations
I didn't really know where I was going with this when I started stamping...but, somehow I just kept stamping more and more and adding more ribbon and flowers and I couldn't stop myself!! I strung everything together on a ribbon and then had to decide what to do with it. I went from room to room carrying my creation...trying it on a wall...over a mirror...on my computer screen. I finally decided to decorate this little memo board we have propped up on our kitchen counter. Here's what it looks like:

Cute Stuff Make 'n Take
Happy Saturday!! I wanted to share with you the project we did at Cute Stuff today. This morning started off very cloudy and rainy and dreary...so, I'd like to thank all of you who braved the weather to make it!! We made this little "mini cupcake" box:
You can download a pattern by clicking here. As usual, cut on the solid lines and fold on the dotted lines. There are 3 pattern pieces. They include (starting from left to right, below) a box piece, an insert piece and a cover:
It was a challenging to put the acetate cover on this morning...so, I changed things around a little. I hope this makes it easier!! We'll start by putting the cupcake into the insert piece. Put the acetate piece over the cupcake and scotch tape it down to the insert piece:
Next, apply double stick tape to the 4 tabs on the box. Remove the backing of 2 of the tabs (I did the 2 tabs on the left side), and adhere. Slip your cupcake into the box...then adhere the remaining 2 sides. Does that make sense? Here's a picture:
To finish it off, I punch 2 scalloped circles using my Marvy (pink) punch. I glued one circle to the top piece of the box (make sure you glue it high enough that your stamped image will clear the top of the acetate cover). Glue the second circle behind the first. Now, you can decorate it any way you want...for any ocassion you want!! Here are a few more ideas:
Stamps used: #C117 (Elliot), #1202 (Happy Easter Sign) and #5030 (Scattered Flowers). **Note: I stamped Elliot onto a printed paper and cut him out...that's how he got his "design")**
Stamps used: #B120 (Easter Rabbit), #A120 (Honey Bunny), #1212 (Easter Egg 1) and #1213 (Easter Egg 2).
Stamps used: #B102 (Max With Cupcake) and #5059 (You're Sweet).
Stamps used: #C104 (Maddy & Pip) and #4016 (Script Happy Birthday).
Stamps used: #B118 (Hoot & Annie) and #A117 (Always).
For those of you who are "culinarily-challenged" (like me!!)...I got these mini cupcakes in the Bakery section of Foodland (they call it muffins...but they're the same to me). I just added frosting and sprinkles. And here's one extra hint: buy more than you need...once you start making these, some of them will disappear!!! ;)

Googly Eyes
Just playing with my Hoot & Annie stamp (#B118) and some googly eyes...it made me smile!! Hope it brightens your day too!!
For the card, I just cut a 2-3/4" x 8'1/4" cardstock and scored at the following intervals: 1/4", 1", 3" and 1". Fold along the scored lines, and use double stick tape on the tab to close. Then I used a Marvy (pink) scalloped oval punch to make the window.
Stamps used: #B118 (Hoot & Annie), #A105 (It's Your Birthday) and #5006 (Daisy).

Easter Tags
I was making a sample tag for a store yesterday...and got on a roll mixing and matching Easter stamps. I used two sizes of Marvy tag punches (blue and pink) and came up with these tags:
Here are some closer shots:
Stamps used: #B120 (Easter Rabbit), #1213 (Easter Egg 2) and #1217 (Easter Cupcake).
Stamps used: #B121 (Easter Sam) and #1216 (Daffodils).
Stamps used: #C120 (Floral Basket) and #1208 (Peeking Chick).
It's always a good idea to have some tags handy...you never know what you might want to give away at the last minute...but, tying a cute Easter tag onto a bag of cookies or a bunch of flowers makes it into an instant gift!!!
Oh...I have to share with you some super cute projects made by Enjoli using Dandelion stamps!! Take a peek at her blog, Stamping Under the Sun. Leave her some comments if you like her work too!!!
And one more thing...remember that you have until midnight tonight to enter our stamp giveaway!!! (Leave a comment in the post below). I'll announce the winner tomorrow!!

One Last Giveaway
I've finally come to the end of my new spring designs. I hope you had as much fun seeing them as I had sharing them with you!! Now here's one last giveaway...
To enter the giveaway to win these stamps, leave me a comment by midnight on Friday, March 6 (Hawaii time)...I'll draw one name at random and announce the winner on Saturday, March 7. I'll be taking an informal poll as to what kind of stamps you'd like to see more of (before I head on back to the "drawing board"!!). Now, here are a couple of ideas using these stamps:
There's a simple pattern for this box that you can download here. Just cut along the solid lines and fold along the dotted ones...the two pattern pieces should look like this:
Use double stick tape along the tabs to form the box. The piece on the right is an insert piece to divide the box in two...use double stick tape in the "V" section to form the divider. Here's what the divider looks like once you put it in the box:
I filled the bottom section with jellybeans and chocolate (Reese's) rabbits. The top portion is used for an Easter greeting:
Here's a card using the same stamps:
...and here's the inside of the card:
Good luck to all and thanks for stopping by today!!!
