Christmas Card Sample - Hawaiian Theme

Here's a quickie card with a tropical flair. Just cut a bunch of strips of printed paper and tie a few ribbons on them (a great way to use up all those scraps you have lying around!!). Stamp and color #909 (Merry, merry Christmas) and punch out with a Marvy Extra Jumbo circle punch. Ink the edges of the circle with a red stamp pad and add some Stickles glitter glue. Finish off with stamp #2001 (Aloha Flowers)...and voila! you're done!! Now you can get back to the mall to finish off your christmas shopping!!

Beautiful Waikiki Beach

I really only intended this blog to be a gallery of samples and stamping ideas but I loved this photo of the Sheraton Moana Surfrider Hotel in Waikiki that was taken on October 8. Obviously I am not a photographer as the lighting is all wrong and that dark shadow is covering a lot of the scenery. However, the weather was gorgeous and it was so wonderful to get a little bit of relaxation.

5013 Sample - Ornament

This is a sample that was made for a make-it, take-it at a local craft store. I used stamps 2022 and 5013. The dimensions of the ornament are approx. 1.5" x 1.5" x 1/2". It might be hard to see from the picture since it's taken straight on, but the bear is actually slightly raised from the background. The ladybug portion is stamped on vellum and glued to the ornament.

E komo mai! (Welcome!)

Aloha! I know that blogging has been around for so long but it's all new to me. I thought it might be a fun way to show some of the samples that I make with the stamps we create. Or if you send me a picture (or the sample itself), of something that you've created with our designs, I'll try to post it in this blog.

To be honest, for now, I will not be updating this daily...maybe weekly or monthly; we'll see how it goes. I was contemplating on just adding a "gallery" section to our website http://www.dandeliondesigns.org/ but figured this would allow me to try something new and I could update it at my leisure.

Thank you so much for your kind words and encouragement! I love designing the stamps and look forward to seeing your creative projects!!
