Sakura Alphabet

Here's our new cling stamp set!!!  It's our first time trying an alphabet set...thought it would be a fun way to personalize your cards, gifts...anything really!!!  Each girl is 1" tall and each set comes with 26 letters and 2 blanks (for numbers, punctuation, etc.)

I'll be working on some projects later...but here's a simple box topper for right now.  Since Mother's Day is right around the corner, I labeled it for good ol' Mom:

Notice how each "M" has a different girl?  In words or names that have the same letter more than once, you might not want to have the same girl twice...so, just cut out the letter you want and paste it onto a different girl!!  Thanks for stopping by...have a fun stamping weekend!!!

Vellum Bags

I've been so focused on graduation recently that it just dawned on me that Mother's Day is also quickly approaching. Here are a few favor bags I made using some pink vellum I had in my stash of papers. All stamps are from CL-10 (Flowers Cling Set):

I stamped the flowers on printed papers, then cut out a few layers and mounted each layer with the smallest foam dot I had. I punched a 1/8" hole on each side and tied a ribbon for a handle.

The pattern was a bit too large to fit in my scanner...so, here are a few simple instructions:

Start with an 8" x 9-3/8" piece of vellum/paper...score at 3-1/2" from each side (see photo, above). Cut along the 4 solid lines as shown below:

Next cut 1/4" away from the vertical dotted lines (as indicated by the solid vertical lines, below):

This is how your finished pattern should look:

Fold along the dotted lines and apply double stick tape to the 4 tabs to complete your favor. Now all you have to do is figure out what to put on the inside!!!

Graduation - Hawaiian Style

Graduation in Hawaii ALWAYS involves giving and receiving leis...so many leis that the recipient has a hard time seeing over all of them!! That was the idea behind the stamps in MC-21 (Celebration). I made a really quick and simple money card using Ping (MC-1 Friend to Friend) along with stamps from MC-20 (Graduation) and MC-21 (Celebration):

I used the lei stamp 2 times to create a more layered look. Here's what the inside looks like:

I rounded my corners and then realized that a small piece of the money shows through at the bottom...oh well...I still like the look of the rounded corners!! :) Click here to get a simple pattern. Cut along solid lines and fold along dotted lines...apply double stick tape to 2 tabs. Also, cut 2 pieces of card stock ( 3-1/4" x 4" each)...one for the card front (left, below) and one for the card back (right, below):

Flip the pocket piece over and tape two 6" pieces of ribbon, as shown below:

Then simply glue the front and back pieces in place. Once you get going, you can whip out a whole batch of these in no time!!!

A Graduation Gift

There's still about 6-7 weeks before graduation season starts...but if this year is any indication, those weeks will fly by in no time!!! I guess the gift of money never goes out of style, so I decided to make a money box (pattern and instructions included in CL-9 Hello Cling Set) along with some of our new graduation stamps from MC-20 (Graduation):

Flip the cover down to reveal Henry, the graduate and your gift of money!!!

Before I go I have a few things for you to feast your eyes on. These were created by 2 super creative and talented ladies...the first is Patti from Creations by Patti:

The next 2 are by Adele. Hmmm...I don't think Adele has a blog but I think she needs one, don't you?

The stamps are too numerous to list...but, yes, they are all Dandelion stamps!! Thanks for stopping by...enjoy your holiday weekend!!!
